The brand MILLEMETRI is certified 100% made in Italy.
What does it means? That every scissor of the MILLEMETRI collection is entirely produced in Italy using high quality materials, following the Italian style, in observance of the measures for safety and environment protection, respecting hygiene and ethical norms.
The certification is assigned only after numerous audits to check that the entire production process of the scissors is carried out in Italy with respect of a series of norms defined in particular in art. N 16 of act 166/2009.
All our scissors are entirely produced inside our factory located In Premana, the scissor’s district worldwide known.
The certification is released by the institution for the protection of Italian producers.
In addition to the 100% made in Italy certification, MIllemetri by Dofet is part of the PREMANA collective quality mark. This is a distinctive sign used to identify products or services from different companies for their specific common origin, nature or quality. The tradition of producing cutting instruments in Premana dates back to 17th century, Here you cn find production of barber scissors, tailor scissors, kitchen scissors, garden scissors and scissors for every other specific use.
Following the Premana collective quality mark guidelines, Mllemetri by Dofet produces professional products and guarantees an high quality level. From the selection of the steel, passing by all the production steps, the company respect the technical requirements inserted in the procedural guideline document.
The collective quality mark Premana was acquired by the chamber of commerce of Lecco, which is the managing institution that has to evaluate, assign and control the respect of the mark’s requirements.
Our scissors are in compliance with the MOCA requirements (Italian abbreviation for Objects and Materials in Contact with food), following the Italian and European regulations:
· Regulation CE N. 1935 /2004 of European parliament and council of 27 October2004 “in regard to materials and objects intended to come in contact with food” and that cancel the CE directives 80/590/CEE and 89/109/CEE”.
